Lessons of ALL kinds.

We're in training, right? We study about cultures and languages and different methods of communication. We listen to speakers talk about cultural anthropology and the importance of prayer, how to eat foods we don't like and how to travel safely.

Globe fountain...I don't think you can see Ukraine from this angle.

We also learn other kinds of lessons...

That's right. Flushing squatty potty here on campus. F.A.N.C.Y.

Hi Erin,
I had a lovely chat with your mum at Elizabeth Dunne’s baby shower. Your mum gave me the blog address and now I have read them all and feel up to date. Two comments: One: In England the fat that is spread on bread or toast is called ‘drippings’. Sounds appealing, right? It could be pork or beef fat and all the fat that dripped into the pan during a roast was saved for later. I know that piece of info’ will be useful in the Ukraine;) Two: Using toilets like that you will be developing thighs and buns of steel (do you cover euphemisms?). Not sure if I can say that, but as you moderate the comments before they go out you can always remove it :)
Ready for the next blog, no pressure.
